Thought it was a negative of an image of a 'black hole' John, but I have my doubts, while near a 'black hole' even clouds can't exist, lol. Good find and good capture.

Makes me reflect that maybe black holes look like that since we do not know what colour they actually are. Subject to lighting black hole could have been your model here, agent. :)
But then since SEAS, our other valued agent, remarked that no clouds exist in the vicinity of black holes ...
Well, whatever, I agree with yet another agent SAS that this is darn cool image. Chilly too :)

While stargazers and astronomers continue to search for black holes, you have discovered a white hole. Imagine that! lol. Another possibility for the contest, John. Nice work.

A stellar shot, John...an almost blinding white light within the vivid blue skies...different and dramatic...would make another great contender for the contest.

I think Spock's afterburner has kicked in as he leaves this earth behind, Shads. It could be the burner on a Vulcan Oven as well.

I would like to help you patch the hole, but I know upcoming doom when I see it and am currently seeking a deep hole in the ground. A great shot of the sky, John.
