John, although little is known (there's only fragmentary information from various classical sources) about the life and work of this pre-Socratic philosopher (about 610 to 546 BC) of the Ionian Miletus, you still were able to visualize his inspiration with this great render.
To be able to do this in this way is no sinecure.
Your post is complemented with more contemporary (in a relative way) quotes and music links.

A very powerful creation, this is a definite favorite for me. Have been reading more about the Greek philosophers lately, and am thrilled to read your selection of these historical times. I can only imagine if we had more teachers like you in our world, it would benefit mankind greatly.
