Yes, everything does pass, and this dark photo depicts that almost too well. Composition wise I can't complain...the B&W format was the only way to portray what you were trying to convey. Any spot of color would have ruined its dreariness. I realize this must have been a macro, but I find myself wishing that the background were even more blurred and perhaps lightened up a bit to showcase the subject, because IMHO we can see just a little too much of the detail in the background and I feel it detracts from the strongly projected message of passing you've placed in the foreground. :)PJ
