I was asked to give a comment on this pic. I'm probably the worst person for the task as I have no clue about fractals and how to evaluate them; I'm afraid I may not do your pic justice. Anyhow, this is my sincere, albeit admittedly naive opinion.
The subject immediately brought two things to my mind: 1. Escher (have you seen his works, e.g. Angels and Demons?), 2. Texas (the flag)! On closer look, one sees red roses and white flowers making the arrangement. The pattern and the whole design are attractive but the colors -to me- are gloomy and not refreshing.
Overall, I think it makes a reasonable DT for fractal fans! I'd give it one green light (design and pattern), one red light (colors) and one amber light (everything else)!
