Before we moved into a unit, my wife grew roses. I had never thought of taking a photograph from this angle. As another said, this brings out the velvety feel of the petals, and as well it demonstrates the reason why roses are truly such a beautiful flower. I can even almost smell this rose. Very nicely done.
