Every November Thailand celebrates Loi Kratong, a giving of thanks to the water gods. The rivers are dancing with flower kratongs, and the skies are lit up with floating lanterns. It is traditional to make a wish upon the release of your floating lantern and kratongs. Several thousand people gathered at one Buddhist Temple, and in unison released their lanterns, all with a wish for world peace.

A lovely thought sending off these lit candles but a waste of time I'm afraid, but if it helps you all the better. :o) The photo appears upside down.

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.
