Went back for more pictures with my son's girlfriend last night. She was able to ask someone who has a house perched on this lovely view, and he told us it was a quarry, they had removed dirt and sold it, and the water collected. The government told them to stop remeoving the dirt now, so it is inactive. This time we found a road and were able to walk down to the water's edge.

This is lovely Carol, infact I prefer this one to the first. I like how you have caught those grasses in the front and the ripples on the water! Well done!

On my monitor it's a little dark, but I seem to be having trouble along those lines. All of the other elements in this composition are clear and well placed. Nicely done!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

92 percent American teens would die if Abecrombie and Fitch told them it uncool to breathe. Would you be in the 8 percent laughing their asses off at the others?

Great colours, the pink of the stone works so well against the blue water. Nice perspective too!
