Done with PaintShop Pro as always. A picture of a pansy in a crystal bowl. I wanted this to be strong, vibrant and lovely. As lovely as the lady in my son's life. It is named for her. She has enriched us all. Please give me an honest opinion on this piece, thanks for your time!

Kaleidoscope like pattern! You might want to make the colors more vibrant, but that's just my honest opinion. Excellent!!!

Agree with Phantom. I love the pattern and the colors, but I sparked them up some after I downloaded this beautiful image.

I, too, would like to see more vibrancy, as well as more activity .. I think how the cystal bowl came out is interesting, but I'd prefer more color action .. so, maybe, place other flowers in the bowl .. or maybe UNDER the bowl, so that they are shot through the glass (this will provide muted colors though)

and .. If possible, create your images LARGER and at 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) .. then resize down .. this will help to clean up rough edges and give a smoother look to curves .. for example, I usually work at 3200x2400 (300 Dots Per Inch) and then resize down to 1600x1200 for upload

Vibrant colors are great - but not allways.

The big gray area is a perfectly textured background. The green colors near the middle work very well with the blue and the orange-brown thingies brings some warmth to the dusty green near the perimeter.

I wanted to check Keifer's statement about the rough edges so I downloaded the 1600x1200. But my screen is only 1024x768 so I only saw part of the image (upper left) - and it looked great! You don't see all of the object but you sense it outside of the frame. Well maybe it's worth a try.

This is a masterpiece Sky!. It is so lovely and I Think you did a great job on this. What a wonderful tribute to someone you love. So what if it's not "perfect" to some. You did your best and that's all that matters. Very nice work Sky!

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares
