Hi Everyone, I'll be putting up my first few posts. I just bought a digital camera and am learning to use it. Please feel free to criticize! This particular fish is a Garibaldi. It is a damsel fish found in California. Thanks, cegerp

I like the pace your fish… The color is contrasting and sharp on the dark bottom… It is a beautiful photograph!

What a lovely fish! Such a bright orange. You've captured him/her very well. Looking forward to more of your work.

Live every day as if it's your last... and take "pictures" of it ;)

Thanks everyone. I took 279 photos at the aquarium, and only 3 or 4 came out well enough that I'm willing to share them. Still, I'm leaning, and with a big memory card, I have plenty of room for mistakes!

I would like to mention that the aquarium is a very difficult place to take photos. There are a lot of oddly placed emergency lights, so just when you think you have a good shot, you realize that there is a big red reflection in the middle of your image. Speaking of reflections, I have a great shot of a hump-head goby that has a reflection of some kid's sneakers in it. If I can find some time, maybe I'll see about learning how to edit them out...
