I really like this image (entered my favourites and will be used as a desktop background). I particularly like that it is a close up of a Japanese garden. Most images of these gardens tend to show a wide view which shows the serenity of the place, but this shows that despite being serene it is made up of a large number of busy elements. It also shows in detail one of my favourite plants - moss. Thank you for sharing.

I like the scale of this.Its a bit decieving at first but after looking at the plants I can see that it is quite a small landscape.Very nice..

Very pretty and very good composition. I was also deceived at first - I thought the little structure on the right was a full-size building. So it makes you stop and look around. I like how the colors are muted, but I know some people would like to see more vibrant colors. So, try to play around with the colors, whether thru the camera or a photo enhancing program. For your first submission, I think you've done a great job. Congrats! By the way, this is going in my favs.
