This was my first attempt at photographing butterflies. I added a "spotlight" effect to try to highlight the butterfly. Let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!

I think it might have looked a little better had you included some of the background color also. Or maybe not, still, all-in-all, a good capture.

I agree with MackMan on the B&W issue. Also the bright light bottom right is distracting. Nicely frames picture, but way too small.

I would have liked to see the highlight on the leaves in the lower right toned way down, and it IS too small. But, you've captured a very hard subject perfectly-- those critters don't hold still for long, lol. It's a good shot overall though.

Nice shot. I too would have left in the background color to enhance the beauty of the butterfly. It is hard to get a good shot I know, I recently posted a couple nice shots I was able to get too.
