A capture from last weekend while downtown in Louisville right at sunset - really had to get the most out of my Pentax K-5 sensor for this one. Just happened to be in the right spot at the right time when these friends were walking up towards me at Waterfront park. Their expressions were great as they looked off at something (no clue) and then their friend happened to be putting on his ear muffs while a car drove past with the headlights on. The headlights reflected off of metal coverings on the street from construction on Main St....a decisive moment? Might be my Street Photography contest entry...hmm 200mm, F/11, 1/250, ISO 12800 - Denoise AI -> Aurora HDR

Who would have guessed that Louisville would be the epicenter of the end.
Marvelous timing and it would make a great entry for the contest.
Best of luck should this be your choice.
Did the Valet return with you car?

A perfect twilight street scene, Chris.
Again I'm somewhat amazed that in these lighting conditions you still were able to use an exposure time of 1/250' in combination with an aperture of f/11. The use of a high ISO was probably helpful to that. If so, the noise reduction was done perfectly!
If you would decide that this is your entry for the current contest, I wish you Good Luck with it!

I did a bit of reading on your camera and I have to say that cameras are getting more and more advanced from the cameras that I have. Low light probably is not an issue so much for this breed of camera technology. I see the old DSLR fading away to antiquity. This quality image at an ISO of 12800 is unheard of and shooting an amazing noise-free image. Aside from all that your composition is right on plus you froze a timeless moment that speaks out loud. Good job Chris.
