Haha. Maybe it just wanted a little attention. Nice work drawing the bird. It'd erase the extra pencil smudges around the bird, though. Otherwise keep on drawing. I'd like to see more. =)
"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean."
--Socrates (in "Apology")
I disagree. I think that the "smudges" around this most excellent drawing of the parrot gives it a sense of movement. Whatever you do, don't put down that pencil!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
the smudges were accidental, they were from other lesser drawings rubbing and cramping his style. but to those who like them, thanks, i think they give the drawing a bit more character, and a sense of movement.
