we were walking around tailem bend outside of adelaide (for you australians) and saw this monarch on this scotch thissle. Kodac moment anytime.

ALL MY WORK IS NOW AT photobucket and i spend all my time at SpawnPoint, forum for gamers.
Fair composition and nice colors. The soft focus detracts from the photo a little. It appears to be from camera motion.
Try using a faster shutter speed
Composition could be improved by moving butterfly to the left. Placing the subject in the center, in effect, divides the picture into two halves. Photography often defies mathematics; two halves seldom makes a good whole.
The out-of-focus background is a plus, drawing more attention to the subject, as is the pleasing contrast.
All-in-all, a nice photograph.

Its funny how a family can be torn apart by something as simple as a pack of wild dogs.
This is great! I can never get that close to pretty butterflies, they always fly away *sobs*. The colours work well, perfecto. Great job! Keep it up!
