A photo i took a while back last Christmas on the great ocean road, specifically "London Bridge"
the photo was very light and a bit grainy, so i fixed it up, and made it look cooler along the way
This is quite a harsh image with the washed out sky and dark rocks. The roughness of the sea contrasts well with the smooth sand. I like it, a lot of thought has gone into the presentation.
Sweet this picture is kick ass Tommy!! I love the colours you used, they are really, really good. How did you do it? I think I know how, but I want to knows~
And speaking of good good, your composition of the scene is indeed a strength.
Don't mean this to come off as a slight, when I first viewed your image ... I did have the intial thought that it might have been a Terragen render. Got that vibe, happening ... you know?
Care to link to the original, for comparative purposes? And I am a bit of a sticky beak, as well. :oD
Caveats?
Not really, more of a suggestion that literally just hit me ...
In reference to the introduction of the vignetting in the upper left ... curious if you could kick up the compositional balance by having it's 'lines' reflect those contained in the silhouettes at the bottom left-hand side. In short and to the point ... more of.
Nice work, Tom.
Great mood and atmosphere to your piece here. Well done from me, and if this is indeed a 'save' ... again, well done.
I've seen a few of these London Bridge shots, but none like this. This one is very different and unique.
It reminds me of something you'd see driving back from a day out surfing.
Thanks for sharing!
