Frozen lake in Saugerties, NY. It almost looks like a beach rather than a wintery scene, doesn't it?

Christina,

A great image! The framing with the wild grasses and your use of the rule of 1/3's are perfect!

Thaks for your post!

Wow... I typically peruse through and comment on abstracts but came across this image quite accidentally. I can't help but comment on its beauty. So peaceful and serene... great work!

Beautiful colors and scene surrounded by the silhouettes of the grasses! Lovely shot!

Lovely colours and it IS quite funky the way it could be sand rather than snow.

Yes, I thought it was water and not ice. It also looks like a canvas painting. It's so beautiful. The silhouettes of the grasses against the ice and the 'bloo' colours, its absolutely
magnificent. I truly like this. What a wonderful photo, something for you to be VERY proud of. I got this in the voting booth, and it deserved very high marks...thank you. Verena

It is a marvellous painting like shot. Wonderful composition and amazing contrasts. Glad you shared it.
