I loved the light underneath the water, it was quite pretty... :)

Cindy,
Not at all up to your usual high standards with this one.
Though due credit is given that it is hard to capture refraction of light by water, there are some improvements on this type of photography that I think could be made. Since refraction of light can be a beautiful phenomenon, consider increasing the area that your key feature is contained in (this would reduce the size of the monotonous background. Also, though you have done a good job of this in this image, focussing on anything underwater given its tendency to bend light is quite difficult, thus consider increasing your focal length as well; it is hard to discern what is actually in focus (though this problem is mostly created by the angle with the water).
Too really capture this beauty, may I consider taking a dip, and looking almost directly down onto the pattern.
Look forward to seeing more of your work soon!

It seems to me that what wears us down the most in life aren't the chances we take, but the chances we dont take, the dreams we put aside, the adventures we push away, the questions that are never answered

I think the spot where you took this photo has the potential to make a very nice desktop, but since you have a relatively small area in view and no real "subject" it would be nice if the whole scene was in focus. Watching the transition of the surface reflection from sharp to out of focus is actually rather nice, but over the rest of the photo (where there is little or no surface reflection) the transition isn't very interesting.

If you have a large enough version of this photo perhaps you could just crop out the top and left of the photo to only show the in-focus area and still keep the nice surface reflection on the right. Good eye for a beautiful scene though regardless, thank you for sharing.

Yea, I think that with this photograph in particular, there should be little to no blur since you really aren't capturing something so far away where it would be blurred out. Also, I'm not sure if I like or dislike that white shine on the right extending the entire height of the image.

Overall however, I actually like what panoramaster calls "monotonus". Very calming and appropriate for nature type desktops.

I like it, although agree having more in focus would be nice, because what i see that is in focus, the region of the river in the middle of the photo - is very cool. The line of light down the side is fantastic and is what seems to be your kind of way of making this photo your own, and not just any photo. I am liking this style more and more..

Boy, this is an unusual capture. Good eye and very creative perspective. I do agree with one statement among all the hoopla...crop off the top and some of the left side of this and it would work for me. I do like the center portion where the sunlight freinds its way down to the bottom of the bed. Very effective. I like it.
