Hello Cindy my luv...this is a lovely shot....it seems such a sorrow that this lonely plant is looking a bit sad!...but it is a 'canny' image.. lots of detail on the 'flower' and the background with the correct amount of blur

I love the way you told this story with your image. The flower is thouroughly isolated by your use of a wide aperture to flatten out the depth of field. You've certainly picked up a few tricks here, haven't you? This one is masterfully done.

What earthy beauty this image has. The flower is so neat. I don't remember seeing many (or any) brown flowers in my life. It makes me think of the faeri creatures Brownies.
