Going through another part of downtown that had basically been deserted, this one particular building really caught my eye. If walls could speak or windows could sing, I wonder at what we would hear from them now?
Very nice Cinny. I like your choice of framing. It gives thre image a good composition and balance. The colors are interesting too. Did you manipulate it in photoshop? It looks like its been heavily desaturated with a slight blurry glow added. Great work. Keep it up.
This is a wonderful view Cindy. The overall shot with the touch of coloring added creates here a great picture. Very unique, fabulous find here. High marks all the way around for me ;)
And why are you anxious about what to wear? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory is not arrayed like one of these.
- Matthew 6:28-29
This picture does like of dreary and lonely... almost scary. That is not a place I would want to be! You have a great way of taking a pictures that would have neat stories to go along with it.
Loved the picture Cindy. Years ago I used to take a disc camera out and take photos of old buildings also. Love the feel of history...and the imagination of the events and people and history. St. Paul is a goldmine for structures like that. Minneapolis demolishes too much of it's history. Anyways...Great Job and Great eye!
I love the idea of this. But, you know, I think if you focused on just the one window, the middle one, and framed it nicely I think it would leave a better impact...than showing part of the other window. I love the colour of this old place too.
