At first glance it looked like mist Cindy. You've certainly captured that stirred up dust in the wind very well in this otherwise serene view of the countryside. It has clarity and perfect lighting along with a lovely frame. Very nice post and thanks for sharing it.

A great shot Cindy of capturing the stirred up dust. I live out in the country, so I see dust everyday. You learn to adjust to it. LOL. A very peaceful setting with the curving road. Looks great on the desktop. Very well done.

Whew, looks like those poor leaves live in "choke city". I don't know how they survive. Very creative of you to choose this dusty road as a project for a composition. Not bad at all.

I can't remember the name of the artist, but the song is running through my head.."Dust in the wind...all we are in dust in the wind"..gotta go out and find it...I love this pic and it's in my faves. the road and the trees are so different from what I am used to seeing here, yet they are as intense and lovely as anything I've viewed in my neck of the woods. This picture is worth so much visually and emotionally. ty :)PJ
Edit: Band is Kansas and here are the lyrics:

I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind.
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see

Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind

[Now] Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, and all your money won't another minute buy.

Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind, everything is dust in the wind.

I really like this. It looks like an adventure is waiting ahead. The long and winding road that leads to your door.....

Nice shot! It reminds me of a small Thomas Kinkade print on my desk with the inscription: "Life Unfolds At The Turn Of A Path".
