wow. I love this. I've never been able to get a good image of falling rain. It would be fun to run around in that. The colour works really well with it as well.
Excellent capture. It's hard to reproduce the feeling of a good rain in a still image. The smell, the rich air, ducking for cover...it's all here. Great job.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Let me tell ya sumthin, I love to shoot hard rain images and THIS is a humdinger. That rain is so real. I did find the image too dark so I played with it in PS5. Increasing the brightness greatly improved everything. The red in the grass popped to life as well as some of the detail in the dark tree trunks. Then, I "selected" and outlined the tree trunks and applied some lighting with the "Shadows/Highlights" box and that brought out more detail in the trunks. This images really shines. It's gorgeous and definitely a keeper.

THE CAMERA'S ONLY JOB is to get out of the way of making photographs. It's entirely an artist's eye, patience, and skill that makes an image. ~Ken Rockwell VISIT MY GALLERY
The overall comp, placement and colorings of the capture really rip into the heart, mind & soul Cinny!! Astonishing piece which exudes much thought for the viewer!!
I like it Cindy. There’s more to see here than is at first apparent. A simple view with delightfully muted colours that is very pleasing to view. Could you send some of that rain over here, we need it :-)
