My darling woman..are you kidding? Are you daft? This is gorgeous and I don't consider flowers as weeds. I never have. If they bring me joy and beauty they are worth the room they take up on the planet...lovely job, my friend.

This is lovely! Besides, a weed is only a plant growing in the wrong place. :>> And what an interesting plant this is! In noticing how the colored petals are also the leaves, I wondered if this species hasn't been growing since the earliest times on Earth.

Whatever it is, it's gorgeous! I think those may be leaves and not petals that are half green and half red, kind of like a pointsettia. This shot is so pretty and so detailed. Wonderful post, Jess.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

If this is a weed then it may grow for me better than some flowers...It is so colorful who would want to pull this??

A rose would smell as sweet by any other name...it makes me red with envy that you could be there to take this...and I must enjoy it vicariously! Why not just title it "Wild"...who cares what it is...it is breathtaking! Bill.
