I recently took a cross country trip with my family to go see my ailing grandmother. I took my camera, of course, and even though we were traveling at light speed to get there a.s.a.p I got in quite a few shots, every chance I got. This being one of them. I can't remember what state this was in, my dad was driving like a bat outta hell, lol. But I loved the natural beauty and coloring and wanted to share it. I left the busy stuff in at the bottom to give some scale. Enjoy. Comments welcome:)

This is a beautiful photo. It's very breath taking. I also like the fact that it looks like the clouds are parting.

Nice capture Jess! since I dont know where you were heading it would be hard to say, but I know OK has a lot of red soil like that. I guess so does TX but you already know that. lol I really like the tree sitting atop the middle "hill". It's proably huge in reality! Hope Grandma is okay! C):-)
