This is another view of the Falls In Letchworth State park in Ny State that I already have posted. I took this shot between 2 Trees the one on the left was very dark and I couldnt lighten it so I cropped off part of that tree and you can faintly see the one on the Right .. I am currently working on trying to brighten up the tree on the right a bit.. but I think the view of the falls from this perspective is breathtaking and doing anything to the trees would distract from that ..

Personally, I think your two previous shots where much better. Brightening tree trunks wont improve the whole picture, because they are out of focus and composition wise don't add much to it. Main subject is great (no doubt about it) so I wish you lots of luck and fun exploring it. :)

Beautiful image of these falls. I love the vegetation on the rocks and You can feel the rush of the water. :)

I think I agree with Saulius. Brightening the tree wouldn't help the photo, and it might take away from it. When I shoot a shot like this I find it useful to use a narrow aperture to increase the depth of field, and stand back at a distance, so the relative distance between the foregraound and background is less great when compared to the distance between the foreground and me. That way the depth of field can get both the foreground and background in focus - pretty neat. PPigeon taught me that, and it works a treat.

I'm wishing the fallls spanned the entire picture, but since it doesn't the picture is different... and different is good... so good job!

What a beautiful and elegant capture! Love how you also got the fine mist with it's own slight colors...very nice and most well done!

Now this is a beautiful capture, the way the water is coming down it looks like clouds about, great framed effect with the rocks. Lovely for a desktop, great view, two thumbs up for this breathtaking image :)
