Worst thing about approaching winter here in Seattle is knowing there will be little if any snow. Took this pic in Minnesota last winter...we got LOTS of snow...which makes winter bearable...I love snow. Just not cold...

Living in Michigan, I see a lot of snow, but that doesn't mean the picture is boring. I rather like it, the tree is hanging in there even though it is being assailed by the powder.

Used to "was" when I was a kid we got a lot of snow up here in the northern climes of Vermont and New Hampshire, but lately it's a rare winter when we see even this much snow, so it is a delight to see. It's a lovely alternative to bare trees and bare earth and bare...well, I guess you get the idea. Nice pic!
