Sad, isn't it, the beauty that comes with the death of the deciduous type trees. These big, colorful leaves are everywhere, falling off of the many big sugar maples in my neighborhood...kinda funny seeing so many as I live in the "Evergreen State".

I know what you're talking about. It was REALLY Fall today as the leaves resembles rain in the wind storm we had. I tried to get a pic of it, but the effect was lost, so I just stood out in the middle of it and enjoyed it for what it was!!

Do they only turn colors when their dying? I've only seen them in pictures. The texture and colors of the grass compliments the yellow leaves, Clever of you to notice that. Thanks for sharing. -mDs

great shot! a bit higher contrast may be nice but i love fall so i love this shot! the title is interesting and fits the image quite nicely. well done

Not bad, but I wouldv'e gone for a more darker aproach. Maybe leaves on the street or something other than the very vibrant, living grass. Otherwise its a nice concept.
