I took this picture on my new Canon Powershot a650 IS. It was about half an hour before sunset, and when I walked by our kitchen window, I thought it was beautiful. I grabbed my camera quick, found some good composition, and snapped the shot. Comments and critiques are welcomed.

Amazing composition, and the colors in the sky are stunning. I sure wish I saw that out of my window! It's on my desktop right now, since I am up in the Arctic and it's currently 10 below, this photo makes me feel warm!!! Nice job!

I like the colors and silhouette but I'm not wild about the composition , it seems messy to me .
Without having seen the scene i would suggest never putting the main interest point of your shot in the center ( here the big palm tree )
