This was taken in southeastern Arizona on the way to Tucson. Thunderstorms were gathering all around but, as is common in the Arizona desert, plenty of sunshine was present as well. With the sun behind me, I had the chance to get the plant against the dark clouds. I wish the fence had been missing but...

I didn't even notice the fence. this is such a beautiful contrast. Talk about storm on the horizon. Perfect.

Took a tour of your gallery ... and it's obvious that you have some talent and experience behind the lens.

A wonderful eye for composing an image. Not only in terms of balance, which is exceptional, but for pure interests' sake as well. Like this visual offering of yours here.

Powerful visually and most compelling.

Not sure of the why, but, as an f.y.i. ... images that are not made available in the larger resolutions seem to have a built-in bias against them. The members of the site seem to ... seem to express a preference for the larger sizes.

Offhand, it does show your work in the best light, as the author of the images, and no pun intended here. You might want to consider that fact for future posts. A search of the forums should yield some discussions centered on the resizing of images and the software used to do so if you are curious.

Looking forward to seeing more from your 'eye.' And of course, thank you for sharing your talents here. :o)

Thanks for the feedback, all, and purmusic for the info on the larger size preference...hum, maybe I should rephrase that! I'll keep it in mind.
