Well, I like your composition, and I have seen Indian Mounds before, but I'm puzzled by the gazebo-type structure standing there. Sure looks like summer :)
I'm not sure what to say. I feel that there is no real noticeable focal point in this photo. The gazebo seems to appear to be the focus, as to the mounds?...Why did you name it "Indian Mounds"...if that is one that the gazebo is sitting on, well, that's fine, but maybe it should be more visible and be made the focal point. As to the mountains...they're a bit foggy, and dont show up real sharp either. I think I'd like to see you really focus in one one of the three items a bit more. Not to say the picture isn't good, but needs focus..Verena
this is a really cool shot. i kinda wish there was a little more color in the sky, but i guess you cant help that can you. the gazebo adds interest to the photo. well done. :)
Thanks for the input, I've found out what my problem has been when post processing my shots. I upgraded my OS and my video card last week and now I see how much many of my shots were the right color and focus without touching them up. But the old video card and color made them look like they didn't have the correct tent, exposure and so on. When the whole time it was my video card and drivers. I haven't finished installing all my graphics apps from the re-install of my OS, but when I do, I hope to produce some much better quality work. Now that I look at the colors in this pic, the mountains don't look anything like they did in the original or in person. Thanks again for the help and please don't stop. It's really helping me. Thanks for the complements as well. dado
