Happy 4th of July. Independance Day, the day that changed the course of history forever. The day, that if not have been, life as we know it could very well have been ruled by the Nazi's. Thanks to our founder fathers who risk their lives for our freedom.

As long as I can remember, I've had amnesia.

A beautiful image of our flag, and long may it wave. I like the rough texture of this shot. The faded color is pleasing as is the waving of the flag. Thanks Dado, for sharing Old Glory with us :^)

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images :)

I like this one, simple yet striking at the same time.

It is different... it appears to me to be a shot of a projection onto a wall... or is it a manip? :o)

I'm with Con on this one, is it a scan of a photo?
I find it hard to capture flags when they're fully displayed, great job!

Actually it was a windy day and my wife had sent me to the store for some milk and things. The flag was in the parking lot as they aften display them now and I had plenty of time on my hands so I just sat there until the wind blew the flag at just the right angle and wavyness. The reason I added the texture and fading was because the sky in the background bleached out on me, even though it was a brilliant blue. I need to learn how to adjust for background and foregrounds. Any suggestions? Thanks again for the comments. dado
