You have done a good job with the photo. It just seems evil looking with the facial colors and hollow eyes.

The eyes are empty, hollow and this is a special feature of ancient scuplture. Very good post, dear Chris, historical, philosophical and universal. Just like the idea of mask itself. After all the masques might changed, but we continue to wear them all the time.

It is a disquieting image. And yes, it does remind one of the many masks we wear all the time...the small self that acts for us throughout our lives that we usually call the ego.
