There is a Ton of fine Detail, here... and your Subject matter certainly Pops! However; it seems Your fly has Been somewhat Absorbed by all that Lichen... though, It's still a Fine shot, and was Probably smitten with Challenges to Undertake! I get the Feeling you're Ramping us All up with this 'Fly' series, and in August we'll have the Pleasure of viewing "Fly and Swatter"... I can't wait!!!

The detail and color is great on this and when viewed full screen the composition is very nice also.

I really like insect pictures... even flies. A very clear picture with fine detail.

A very cool shot. The only thing that tweaks me are the blobs of stray light on the right side. Even if they're perfectly natural reflections, they still look like debris on the lens or sensor. Everything else is pretty solid and the diffuse overhead light really brings out the color & detail. The fly & me both smell a winner.
