This is a real nice image Chris, it looks like a nice place to sit and enjoy the water front. I like the clouds, nicely done.

I like how the benches just go on and on. And they are quite beautiful. Wonderful image. Faved.

A fine sample of benchiness. A nice perspective in the photo and nice view of the shoreline. Good colour and lighting in the shot. Best of luck in the contest.

Well done on a first place. Nice perspective with the top line of the benches similar to the shoreline in the distance and post editing to bring out the clouds.

However, I didn't 'warm' to this one, perhaps because of clinical whiteness of the line of benches and absence of anything that hints at the 'fun' (beach ball, umbrella) of a sea-side pier location. Just a personal thing and not meant to take away from a deserved placing.

Congratulations on this shot which was a sure winner. So pleased for you. Great angle of these benches too. I cant believe you managed to get this shot with no people about. All I can think is that you must have got up extra early. Well done!
