Someone has certainly taken a lot of pains to make sure that this statue looks fresh and new, but then I guess keeping things in tiptop shape is important if this is going to last on into the future! Good job! :)


EDIT: I just looked at your other upload and reread the info there and realized that this was refurbished not so very long ago!

Deze ziet heel wat minder serieus, dan in Groningen, Cornelius!
Hier is het een oorlogs monument, waar op 4 mei de herdenkings plechtigheid plaats vind!

I am impressed and fascinated by this image. The gold, white and blue makes it just perfect. I also have to smile a bit. The dragon looks like out of a book for children. Smile

haha, thats a funny statue, look at that dragon, strange that it is in the netherlands, as he is the english saint... i cant say i have ever seen a statue of st george here! lovely clarity and composition of that shot too cornelius!

Nou, dit lijkt me een serieus gevecht ! en de draak schijnt te verliezen !
Jammer van die anti duiven/vogel pennen. doet wat afbreuk aan het geheel.
Maar de foto laat aan duidelijkheid en kleur niets te wensen over.
