It's amazing to me how much they look like a cross between a crap apple and a rose hip!!! The colors are great and the composition is good too, but the focus is somewhat soft, except for the very closest aspect on the bottom bit of the apple closest to the foreground of the picture. High marks from me, if I get it in the voting booth, and I'm headed there now!

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

This is really eye catching. It is really nice the way the sunlight is hitting the apples and also creating the shadows on this lovely image of luscious reds and vibrant greens. It is a shame they can't be eaten as Jan suggested.lol

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Ben het niet helemaal eens met PJ over de 'focus'!
Dacht zelfs even dat er condens, of waterdruppels op m'n scherm zaten! (lol)
Ongewoon, maar knap door jou gedaan, Cornelius!

they look delicious. the shot is good because it makes the apples look like they're about to jump off the page.
