As you know I like old buildings. They've all got a story to tell. You captured this one very nicely. It looks like the brush took it upon itself to protect and hide the barn. You can tell it once stood proud. Love the colors and framing. Thanks for sharing.
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
I really like all the lines beginning with the grasses and then the lines of the barn rooftops. It looks like they used several different materials in making that roof. The colors are perfect and the frame brings it all together. Nice work here, Cornelius.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Seems so strange to me to see such a beautiful tiled(?) roof on such an old abandoned building. Here it would be worn-out shingles or even tin!! Nostalgic capture.
