Ebb in a creek leading to the Lake of Veere. Taken at the most Eastern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. PS: the grey/black part is mud. Hope you'll understand that my wife wasn't that glad as I was standing in the middle of it to capture this image.

There's really a lot going on here and it's all good. I like the row of bare trees contrasting with the green field. The water at low level but being able to see where it will be later. The different colored grasses and of course the beautiful sky. Good composition and well thought out photo. Good post Cornelius.

For all the reasons that Tick has outlined, I like this one, but so far, the first is my fave :)

Did you take off your shoes? This picture has a lot of contrasting colors. You captured a great sky once again. Very nice, Cornelius.

It has a lonely feel to it Cornelius - beautifully composed -- certainly worth the mud :)

I would say it was worth the mud tracking to get this shot. Very well done Cornelius!

I shouldn't think she would be very happy, Cornelius! lol Now I see that it is really dry. Another wonderful shot with those lovely colors off to the right.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Very beautiful shot with great colors and composition.
Hope that your wife is also of the opinion that it was worth the trouble and mess!

Another outstanding shot. I like that grey water full of action, and that little green spot in the right corner. What an amazing composition.

Ook mooi gelukt, maar tenopzichte van de eerste posting vind ik het hier een beetje te veel voorgrond, maar als je dan de titel erbij pakt, nou dan klopt het allemaal weer !
