'Oranjezon' (Orange Sun) is the name for a nature preserve at the Northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. This nature preserve is a kind of buffer zone between the civilised country and the North Sea. One can walk there for hours without seeing anybody. Nature there is very versatile. My intention is to show you in this series some different aspects from 'Oranjezon', from rough forest to moody sands and dunes. This image for example is taken on top of a dune in the forest. All Images are captured in february 2008. Hope you'll enjoy this series.

A grand view well photographed, Cornelius. Looking at this I can well imagine that you won't meet anybody on the way. But we are with you enjoying the walk and the scenery without the physical strain. Take us further Cornelius.

I love the light and shadows in this, as well as the branches that frame the shot. You got a great view of the river bending from up there. The whole scene is beautiful. Excellent work, Cornelius.

L'endroit choisi pour photographier cette rivière est supeerbe...Les teintes vieillottes et le reflet de l'eau à travers les brousailles est fantastique..you know how to capture the beauty of the nature

I envy the post above. The have the knowledge of more than one language. Well I guess I do speak a little redneck now and again. Not fluently though. Great photo Cornelius. I like how I feel hidden and enjoying the view below. Watch your step on this venture. Excellent colors, contrasts and compostition. It's a winner Cornelius.

Such a beautiful preserve with this river running through. I like your high position on this shot and the sun warming up that spot of grasses. Your framing is impeccable as always.
