'Oranjezon' (Orange Sun) is the name for a nature preserve at the Northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. This nature preserve is a kind of buffer zone between the civilised country and the North Sea. One can walk there for hours without seeing anybody. Nature there is very versatile. My intention is to show you in this series some different aspects of 'Oranjezon', from rough forest to moody sands and dunes. This image is taken on our way through the dunes to the beach which can be seen already. Far in the distance (difficult to see as it's hazy) the Eastern Scheldt Storm Surge Barrier. All images of this series are taken in february 2008. Hope you'll enjoy this series.

Beautiful scene with the undergrowth contrasting with the beach, sea and sky. I feel like I'm standing there looking about. Great colors and presentation Cornelius. Have a good weekend.

Another beautiful shot from the preserve. How fortunate to have this place to wander. I'd head right for the beach after this one and spend a good deal of time there warming up. What a wonderful place.
