'Oranjezon' (Orange Sun) is the name for a nature preserve at the Northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. This nature preserve is a kind of buffer zone between the civilised country and the North Sea. One can walk there for hours without seeing anybody. Nature there is very versatile. My intention is to show you in this series some different aspects of 'Oranjezon', from rough forest to moody sands and dunes. This image is taken on our walk back to the entrance. Standing on top of a dune we can see a part of this area. All images of this series are taken in february 2008. Hope you'll enjoy this series.

The green shrubs really pop out at you in this picture. They go good with the shades of brown around them, too. Very interesting terrain. Also, the brown frame is very complimentary to the picture. Nice work, Cornelius.

I too like the green bushes in the shot. Your composition with them and the other growth is perfect. I love the angle and I wonder what type of critters live in the undergrowth. Seasand Bunnies I'm guessing. Nice Cornelius.

This is a very nice view and the green plants are very well set off against the brown background. A lovely shot, Cornelius.

What I find most interesting about this spot is that the two shrubs are so very green and all else is wintery brown. They must be like conifers. Lots of great texture on the dunes. These dunes are similar to the ones here on Cape Cod.

Again you have subtle colors and the green of evergreens contrast well in a great composition...and your framing is perfect as usual Cornelius...gerry
