You just keep turning out one outstanding image after another these days Cornelius:) The composition of this is fantastic and the reflections in the sand are and absolute delight, excellent work.
The westerly wind is causing a drift to port - He should go a little more to starboard! :) Very nice view of a coaster coming in - very good shot, Cornelius.
You can take the sailor from the sea, but you can't take the sea from the sailor. M'thinks you still love here, mate. It shows. In this beauty, it shows. Kudos.
Don is right. Your love for the sea shines through in your work. Everytime I see barriers they remind me of the movie "The Longest Day." However this displays the beauty and the joy of the moment. The colors are great. Nice work C but I'll give you an A+.
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange

I can really see how much time you took to get this shot just right. The 'division' of sky, water and beach. And those lovely reflections in the water in front of the pilings. VERY nice. I totally love the whole photo. You got a great one here.Verena
Do not wait; the time will never be "just right."Start where you are and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.
i, who get seasick, almost can't look at this one. i love the way you included the sand, the pilings, the sea, the ship, the buoy, and the sky. there is so much to see. excellent!
This is such a wonderful photo in every way Cornelius. The composition is excellent with the beach and the pilings and the wonderful reflections of them in the forground and the see, buoy, ship and sky in the background. Wonderful work!
