Captured in the vicinity of the Oostkerk (East Church) in Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Like to show you the partly by sun lighted houses in the street with the impressive church at the background. The church has 'caught' almost all the sunlight because of its size in relation to the houses. Hope you'll enjoy this image.

A nice shot, just a bit to dark for me though.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....

This is a great shot too, Cornelius. The bare branches of the trees and the shadow/light effect set off the church beautifully against the sky and surroundings.

I like the lighting. Especially the sun shining on the front of those buildings. That dome really looks impressive from this angle. I like it very much. Good work Cornelius.

I'd rather be here, than where I'm at!

Good shot C. Shows me how when the leaves return how the top of the steeple will be all that's visible. Let's me use my imagination. Good work my friend.

I do not only like the lights and shadows here, but also how deep I can look into the picture. A very fine work.

Great shot with nice colors and composition! I love how the church is behind the trees... gives it more dept.

Nice shot, Cornelius. I like the way the tops of the trees contrast with the sky. You also managed to get good detail on the branches and on the very top of the church, even though the sky is very bright. Good work.

God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you. 3-5-7 forever

I agree with Mark and John, the light is on the houses and not on the church but nevertheless a lovely shot of Middleburg:))

Super combination of textures and light. Also, I do not see any modern things such as telegraph wires or cars or people slouching about in grungy modern clothes...so that this seems like a trip back in time. Very very special.

Very nice out-of-the-box shot. A very good use of all those bare trees in the foreground.

Looks like the sunshine was favoring that one part of the church. It is a nice play of light and shadow and a fine looking kerk.
