Sometimes ago I told you that every (traditional) windmill in Holland got a name. This one is called 'Landzigt' (Country sight) and was built on top of an inland dike at the peninsula North Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands. I didn't clone out mother and daughter as, to me, they make the image less 'solemn'.

Hope you'll enjoy this post and thank you in advance for any comment.

A beautiful scene, Cornelius. "Country Sight" and surroundings look so peaceful. You did right in not cloning out the mother and daughter. They give the scene a certain amount of reality.

Beautiful shot Cornelius. I would not have cloned them out either. Makes for a great overall setting.

I agree, leaving the people in was the right choice imo. Like the composition you chose Cornelius, good work!

I think it is against some laws to clone people. lol. Glad you left them. The road appears to lead you straight to the Windmill. Now you understand why all my barns have names. Great framing to compliment this wonderful example of your countryside C. I like you new projects by the way. Good luck with them. Especially #3. lol

I never get tired of seeing windmills like this one. Another excellent shot, Cornelius. I love the lines made by the fence and the road.

Great Shot Mr. C!
What sort of trees are those on the right? They look like they've had a real good "trimming" and are just starting to come back. Look real Old too.

Wonderful country view! And the clouds offset your composition beautifully.

Outstanding capture, Cornelius. Love the lines that the road and trees are creating, right to the wind mill. The colour and clarity are a big WOW, FABULOUS. Love this one big time.

If you had removed the humans, this image might seem as if it were taken 100 years ago.
Super perspective and lighting.
