Great view C and it is nice to see you back. I was wondering what the netting was doing out in the water. Is it to catch fish? That is really a beautiful sky you caught.

Think it's hard to believe for people on the other side of the 'pond', lol, but with these nets eel is caught. The eel is smoked with burning wet oak wood chips in a kind of kettle. Smoked eel is very expensive but a delicacy in Holland.

eel huh, we have jellied eels here, but, that is one of not very many things that would go nowhere near my mouth thats for sure. lol. as for the shot, i like the expanse of water and the feeling of stillness here!

I love those low lying clouds. They appear to be resting on the lake, which doesn't give any sense of being man made. The frame color goes so well with this pretty image.
