Captured in the woods near the village Oostkapelle, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Probably you find them cute and adorable, but some people in the village have a different opinion on that as their number grew (too) tall. They are hungry, and therefore the gardens of the inhabitants of the village are visited at night. The deer eat everything what's eatable, destroying the gardens this way. Every medal has its backside, hope however you'll enjoy this image. Thank you in advance for any comment.

I didn't know they destroyed gardens, but this sure is a great shot of that group of deer. Very nice, Cornelius.

One can see it is a family photo because they all look a bit alike and have similar features - LOL. Nice capture, Cornelius very rarely you find so many together except of course in Serengeti park!

I looked at this so long C I now have spots in front of my eyes. Some section of our part of the world open hunting season or hire someone to help control the herd. They can be a bother. They are prone to disease if the herd gets out of hand. Still it is a great photo and I never tire of looking at them.

Good luck to you and yours.

So many of them! I think they are cute, but if they were eating my vegetables, I'd probably have a different opinion too. Well captured little culprits.

Mr. C. This is such a good image and how wonderful that you were able to get so many in one shot. Way to go!
We have controlled hunting around here to keep the numbers down. Kind of sad but I do undeerstand it also. sandi♥

Het lijkt wel alsof ze er mooi willen opstaan,Cornelius.Erg jammer voor deze prachtige dieren maar als hun aantal te groot wordt zal moeten ingegrepen worden.En zoals overal trekt de mens hier aan het langste eind.

wow.... there are so many, i can see perhaps it would be a problem eating everyone's gardens, but at the same time they are sooo cute.

They look adorable - a great pic Cornelius.

A bit like cute fluffy bunnies I guess - lovely to look at but pests in the gardens.

You are so lucky to see so many deer in one place and to have them hang around long enough for you to photograph them. Well done Cornelius, this is a wonderful image.

This is quite the portrait of this herd Cornelius...your commentary is common refrain with man living in proximity of wildlife...wildlife is in survival mode and one's garden is food for them...gerry

Cornelius. I can well imagine the villagers consternation! I don't believe I have ever seen so many deer in one spot before. Well caught and well defined!

Love the title. I thought they were in a zoo until I read your commentary. There are indeed to many. Can't they be hunted?

I know about visitors in the garden at night. I have european roes coming every night eating my apples. These look adorable Cornelius. Great shot!
