Looking at this image with great colors and details... makes it clear to me that you have a great photographers eye in finding beauty where others would have seen nothing but a lone leave on the ground.

Very artistic Cornelius. Great colours and composition. Personally I would have cropped the left-hand side more so the leaf was off-centre. But it's down to personal preference.

I like the color of the leaf - usually they are red or gold or brown, so this rose-colored stands out. With the light centerd on the leaf and the surroundings in the dark, it makes a great composition.
