Really like the depth here Mr. C. Good lighting and shadows. It gives a feeling of actually being there. =^..^= sandi ♪

Looks beautiful with the sunlight filtering in through the trees. The path has that pinkish colour which I have seen in quite a few of your photos. It adds to the beauty of the scene. A very nice post Cornelius.

Forest end, or begin?, Cornelius....lol!
Again a very nice image, with nice (autumn) pastel colors!

John, you're right. 'End' is just relative, as it can be 'Begin' as well. I've chosen for this title indicating that for me it was the end of a stroll through the forest.

I love the light and shadow in this, but I am especially intrigued by the pinkish light, and haze going through the center. It really makes for an interesting look. Is that from a filter, or did you create that look with editing? Very very nice, Cornelius.

Hello Jimbob,
One should never ask a cook for his recipe, as the result will never be identical, lol!

Most of my images are captured with a NIKON D80 in RAW, so I have to edit and to reduce them in size before converting them into the JPEG format. I try to post images as natural as they can be. In only special occasions I'm using some extra tools.
When I was on the spot, really thought that I've captured a perfect image. After using the to me standard editing procedure, saw however at my monitor that it had a rather 'cold' look. Therefore I thought it would better to give this image a slightly warming touch, and used the PS2 warming filter (LBA) with a density of only 14%.

Hope it's a helpful answer to you my friend.
Give it a try at your images as well!
Best regards, Cornelius.
