Said 'thanks' to my wife for not blaming me that I was (far) too late for dinner the day that I've captured this image (November 13th, 2008). When I showed her the thumbnail of the RAW image, only available then on the display of my camera, she understood that I had to take the opportunity to capture this scene.

Although I've posted recently some more sunset images, hope you will enjoy this image too.

Hope you will understand that, due to personal circumstances, I have to say 'thank you' in advance for taking the time to comment on my images, as I can't really find sufficient time for a personal 'thank you' to all of you. Please take for granted that your comment is highly appreciated by me.

Another beauty, Cornelius. This has a warming effect on me. I just commented on one that had just the opposite effect, because of the snow, now I am thawing out. LOL. Excellent work.

I think the flock of geese really set this one off C. Colors are great and how can one ever tire of such beauty.

Good health to you and yours.

Fire in the sky! A wonderful and dramatic sunset Cornelius. The perfect, finishing touch is the flock of birds.

A very nice presentation Cornelius. I like the fiery orange and yellow sky. The formation of geese add a nice focal point in the sky that guides the eye to the heart of the image. The only change I would make would be to crop the top down below the mostly burned out spot/hole in the clouds while possibly keeping the width the same. A lovely capture C. I think I would not mind being late for dinner for this one.
