Owd Bob said in his comment on my yesterday's post: "Boy, you sure have a lot of snow there, still!...or did you take advantage and snapped a lot of them?"

The answer is that simple, as frost and snow have become pretty rare in the part of the world where I'm living, I have to use any opportunity to make photographs as soon as we have those frosty weather conditions here, so I snapped a lot of them.

The hoar frost has gone now and is 'replaced' by stormy, rainy and/or grey weather.

This post shows a tiny very old farmhouse, captured at the eastern part of the the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. I captured this farmhouse as It will be gone soon in order to make room for new houses. Even in Zeeland 'progression' (please notice the inverted comma's) goes on.

Hope you'll enjoy this image. Thank you in advance for any comment.

A peaceful looking scene made beautiful by the frost and the blue sky. That tree looks good there against the buildings. Very nice post as usual, Cornelius.

Gorgeous landscape image with great composition! I love how the tree and farm look against that lovely sky and the frost covered grasses in the front.
Am saddened to hear that the farm has to make room for houses...know it is progression but still it is a shame.

If you have a longing for some snow, Cornelius, just come to where I am living, and you will soon be tired of it. It has been snowing all night, and is supposed to continue well into the afternoon. Way too much for me. Your pictures of the frost are fantastic, and really make for great wallpaper images. I love this series.

Another fine shot in the series Sir C! We just recently got some snow here, it had been very dry so far so good to see it. I do much prefer the spring but the moisture the snow brings makes a nice spring possible.

You don't have to stop with this series on my account C. I love winter scenes as long as I am not physically there. lol. That looks like one huge barn. I am not sure progress is progress. Beautiful shot.

Good health to you and yours.
