The title of this post has nothing to do with Ernest Hemmingsway's book with the same title. In the case you're asking: "Where's the old man?", I like to give you the answer that he was standing on top of this Zeeland (The Netherlands) sand dune (lol) to capture a setting sun above a hazy sea.
Hope you'll enyoy this scene like I did. Thank you very much in advance for any comment.
PS: when watching this post at full screen size, left at the horizon, a buoy and an in the mist disappearing tanker can be seen, so it are no blots, lol.

You might have been standing on a sand dune C, but your feet are always on solid ground. I can tell by your character. Such a wonderful capture. I agree it is one of the best I have seen on this site. Heavenly.

What a glorious shot this is. Has to be one of the best sunset pictures on the site. Very beautiful, Mr. C. I never read that book, but I saw the movie with Spencer Tracy. I was about 10 when that came out.

Cornelius, this one looks SO much like a painting. Whatever processing you did had one small downside - those two darkest clouds in top centre are a bit posterized, everything else in this is sweet mate.
